Founded in 1846 in Biella, at the foot of the Italian Alps, Menabrea is Italy’s oldest continuously operating brewery. The region’s pure water and fresh mountain air made it the perfect place for Giuseppe Menabrea to craft exceptional beer.

For over 170 years, the family have brewed their remarkable birra using only five simple ingredients: water, barley, hops, yeast & brewer’s maize. Each brew is gently aged to develop its signature taste - complex, malty and hoppy with citrus undertones. Today, the fifth generation of the Menabrea family continue to craft their award winning birra in the same location, with the same ingredients, passion and care that started it all.
